Injections with Dysport

Dysport is a natural-looking, fast-acting, long-lasting prescription injection proven to help smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows without changing the look or movement of the rest of your face. For patients who want a natural look, this treatment temporarily decreases muscle movement in the targeted areas to soften the appearance of glabellar lines, the vertical wrinkles more prominent on your forehead in between your eyebrows.

What Should I Do Before My Dysport Appointment?

If you have a special event or vacation coming up, please keep in mind that you may want to schedule your treatment at least 1 week in advance. It is recommended to discontinue the use of Aspirin, Motrin, Advil, Flax Oil, Cod Liver Oil, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, or any other essential fatty acids at least 3 days before and after treatment to minimize bruising or swelling. Remove all makeup, lotions, and products from area being treated.

How Long after getting Dysport can I see Results?

Most patients will begin to see gradual effect within 3-4 days. Dysport does not immediately kick in and does not immediately wear off. It typically slowly wears off beginning after 3-4 months.

What are the side Effects of Dysport?

The potential side effects of Dysport are not only rare but also extremely minor. The most common side effects of Dysport include slight bruising/redness/bleeding of and around the injection site.

How is the Dysport treatment performed?

Devon our Registered Nurse will ensure that your treatment is performed accurately to address fine lines ad wrinkles and achieve your desired results. The treatment area will be injected and will temporarily decrease muscle movement in the target areas to soften the appearance of lines and wrinkles

Where can Dysort be used?

Dysport® has a growing number of uses, it can ease muscle spasms, flatten wrinkles, and modify the jawline! Dysport targets glabellar lines, these are vertical wrinkles that are located on your forehead. They most often start to form in between your eyebrows during early adulthood and can become more prominent as you age due to a decrease in your body’s production of elastin. They can also become more noticeable when you squint, giving you a frowning or angry appearance. Dysport® is Health Canada and FDA-approved for use in the treatment of lower limb spasticity in children, spasticity in adults, and cervical dystonia, which affects neck and head movement.

Dermal Fillers using Revanesse

The four major structural components of our face are skin, fat, muscle, and bone. As we age, volume loss in these structures contributes to many of the visible signs of aging. Those area of lost volume could be easily fixed by injecting Dermal Filler.

Dermal fillers made by Hyaluronic Acid can be used for the lips, eyebrows, around the mouth, in tear troughs, and around the eyes.

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected under the skin. They can solve a number of common concerns like smoothing of deep under-eye circles, lifting of cheekbones, volumization of the lips, smoothing of lip lines and nasolabilal folds (the creases that run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth), and rejuvenation of the hands.

Dermal fillers can be used to achieve different goals, including softening facial creases, and performing lip augmentations. By injecting hyaluronic acid dermal fillers in the skin, it enhances natural plumping action which replenishes your body’s natural production of hyaluronic acid against the loss of it due to aging.

Where can filler be used?

  • Cheeks – lifts and enhances cheek bones and adds structure.
  • Lines around the mouth.
  • Nasolabiel folds – Softens lines from both sides of the nose to corners of the mouth.
  • Marionette lines – Smooth’s lines that run vertically between the mouth and chin.
  • Lip Augmentation.
